Update December 2009
Since June 2006, UBC has been reviewing the 1992 Main Campus Plan to create a new Vancouver Campus Plan. This Plan for our academic lands builds on an evolving physical form and supports UBC’s academic mission. The Campus Plan Review has six phases comprising technical studies and consultation with the campus community and other stakeholders.
We just completed Phase 5 – Here’s the Plan! As part of Phase 5, UBC Campus & Community Planning asked for feedback and comment about the draft Campus Plan. The draft Campus Plan was developed in consultation with faculty, staff, students, alumni, residents, emeriti and the broader community.
The Draft Campus Plan and other documents related to Phase 5 can be found here or by following the navigation link to Process.
Thank you for participating in Phase 5 Consultation!

Next Steps
Feedback received during Phase 5 will be considered, along with technical studies, to finalize the Campus Plan. The main tasks will be to refine policy directions and guidelines and provide greater clarity regarding implementation. In 2010, the Final Campus Plan will be presented to the UBC Board of Governors. The Final Campus Plan will be available online.
